Car Dealers in Tallahassee Await Arrival of All New Acura Models
The ILX Concept car was the first car Acura featured at the 2012 North American International Auto Show and is acting as the precursor to the new luxury compact sedan set to launch in the spring of 2012. The sedan has been giving a sleek, sporty, and aerodynamic exterior design, aimed at not only increasing performance but also catching the eyes of both potential buyers and passerby.
“The strategy behind this new model is to position ILX as the first opportunity for many young buyers to enter the luxury market,” said Jon Ikeda, head of the Acura Design Studio. The ILX will come with a trim model featuring Acura’s first gas-electric hybrid.
After the ILX, Acura showcased a prototype version of the soon-to-arrive 2013 RDX. The 5-passenger SUV has been given an all-new powertrain in addition to a few new exterior design cues, making it a clear improvement over the previous model. The new powertrain will feature an impressive 3.5L V6 standard with 273-hp, a 33-hp increase from the previous model. Despite this boost in power, the 2013 RDX will still manage to achieve a solid 20-mpg city and 28-mpg highway. The exterior has been streamlined to give it a more sporty and aerodynamic design, increasing performance and the overall aesthetic appeal.
The Acura NSX Concept is another vehicle that Tallahassee car shoppers can to look forward hearing more about to over the next two years. This remarkable concept car will employ Acura’s new Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system, making it one of the most dynamic all-wheel drive vehicles to date. This, coupled with the fact that Acura will be offering the NSX in a hybrid model, giving drivers an unparalleled driving experience that’s big on fun and low on gas consumption.
