Tee off for Tots 2011 is on. Proctor Acura, a favorite Tallahassee used car dealer, is urging all members of the community to come out and show their support. The benefit is being put on in partnership with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Foundation.
Diabetes is something that has likely touched the lives of most people. Unfortunately, it is very common. This time each year, the Proctor family of dealerships, along with the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Foundation, put on one of the most fantastic benefits for raise community awareness of juvenile diabetes. Tee off for Tots directly supports the Proctor Endowment for Children with Diabetes.
The Proctor Endowment for Children with Diabetes has been one of those things that truly makes a difference in both the community and the lives of single children in the community and surrounding communities. The Endowment has been active for the past 10 years and has touched over 600 children with diabetes through delivering education support from their time of diagnosis onward.
The highly trained pediatric team at the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Diabetes Center are highly experienced and have been passing on their knowledge to local and regional school systems in state-of-the-art care. The pediatric team's initial training and thus their ability to train others has come to fruition through the funding generated by the Proctor Endowment. Proctor, just like with their Tallahassee used car sales, performs only at 100% or better.
Just as well, in the past 10 years, 365 children with diabetes have been afforded the opportunity to attend diabetes camp. Many of those kids had not been able to attend camp before because of their condition. In the same period of time, 185 families of children with diabetes have been able to attend the TMH Diabetes Center family Weekend. Because of the Proctor Endowment, a positive influence on the community will continue to flow into the future.
Tallahassee Used Cars Owners Mark the Date

The entire Proctor family of dealerships and the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Diabetes Center would like to invite members of the community to join them for dinner ath the annual Tee off for Tots Carnival celebration on Sunday, October 23rd at Proctor Subaru. Festivities begin at 6:00pm. Donation tickets for the event are $75 each. They can be purchased at the cashier desks of Proctor Honda, Proctor Acura and Proctor Subaru.
